IONODE PLAIN ENGLISH WARRANTY STATEMENT

Every Ionode sensor is inspected and Quality Assured prior to leaving the factory and is guaranteed to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a pro-rated period of 12 months from the date of purchase under normal laboratory conditions. In the unlikely event of sensor failure during this period, the goods should be returned to your place of purchase for assessment and must be accompanied by a detailed explanation of the problem and proof of purchase. Under the terms of the warranty, if the product proves defective, it will be repaired or replaced at the discretion and cost of Ionode, and returned to you within 21 working days of receipt. If the product is deemed to be damaged due to improper use and is therefore not covered by the manufacturers warranty, a quote for repair or replacement can be requested. The damaged product can be returned at the owners request. Replacements and exchanges are not offered under warranty unless a manufacturing defect is found.

Sensors are electrochemical devices and as such will always have a limited operating life. This life expectancy depends on the field of application such as the medium used and the pressure and temperatures it is used at. This life expectancy can vary between some weeks to several years, however in extreme environments the acceptable operating life may only be a matter of days. This may be evident as a decline in performance or as complete failure, and as it is not possible to predict this rate of deterioration or contamination, sensors are considered items of consumption and as such not covered by a performance guarantee.

Ionode and its approved agents may be able to advise what operating life you might expect in your application based on similar experiences, but this in no way constitutes a performance guarantee. Damage caused by wear and tear, inadequate or inappropriate maintenance, connection to faulty meters or other inappropriate devices, corrosion or other chemical processes is not covered by warranty.

Ionode and its related entities will not be liable for any damage or injury caused by failure or misuse of any product.
